back in business! A little about the life we've been living.

I've thought of a million ways to jump back into this and yet I feel as if it's completely new to me. I'm disappointed in myself for letting life situations put space between myself & blogging. That's how it went though so all I can do is get back at it.
The past 2 years have been a whirl wind of events. I couldn't even imagine touching on everything in one post so I'll focus on the most exciting/eventful & catch you up on the rest soon;)

My sweet Keaton Jack had his 1st tball game this weekend & I must go on and admit that I'm gonna be one of those whootin' hollarin' wild Momma's.
I don't believe in being hard on the players at all at this age, I think that's just ridiculous but I do believe in what I call a little "supportive instruction" from the stands. I played softball for too many years to be expected to sit there & be completely silent. That's just too much to ask. I was over the moon proud of Keaton & how he done. He's 1 of 2 four year olds that play & sometimes you'd never be able to tell it's his 1st year.

Last weekend, my Prissy P had to be taken to the ER for congestion & labored breathing which turned into a 3 day hospital stay. Even though I hate staying in the hospital, I was thankful I took her when I did & that they kept her. It turned out to be pneumonia and the sweet thing was pitiful.
I missed the boys horribly while we were gone but it was really nice to have the 1 on 1 time with her. She is such a little comedian. She would make quirky little comments when the nurses walked in the room & had everyone in ahhh of her big blue's & her adorable little ways.

When it was time to leave, she got taken down to the car in a wagon & I swear there must have been every nurse on the floor standing at the elevator to tell her goodbye. She was the best baby while we were there, she stayed calm, in her bed & was always just the most pleasant little girl. I hate that she got sick, I really do but if it had been one of the boys instead it definitely would have been a whole lot more eventful!
{& not in a good way!}

Right before the hospital stay, like one day before. We had just gotten home from my MIL's wedding which is about 2 hours from our home & required a hotel stay. I'm sure if you have small children, you could imagine this experience. 3 children under 5, sometimes 4 if my sweet niece Bella was visiting from across the hall in a hotel room is comparable trying to keep wild baby banshee Indians controlled.
{3 words. TAKE.NERVE.PILLS. It's not gonna work out in your favor!}
God knows I'd never trade any of them!
We all made it back though with some of our sanity. The kids had a blast hanging out with Bella, I enjoyed some time with my SIL & best friend...yes, I'm lucky enough to get a 2 for 1 with her ;) & the guys got to hang out after the kids were out for the night. That's what it's all about. Finding happiness in some of the most stressful situations.
{I'd be lying to you if I said I'd do it again though! HA!}

Blessings & Love,
Brittany
